The Birthday Party

   No había subido nada antes de los Birthday Party porque sus discos no son tan inaccesibles como los de Lydia Lunch por ejemplo, pero últimamente muchos servidores andan malos, los links se caen y ya no es tan simple encontrarlos como antes (bueno, a aparte de que me los pidieron por interno xD). El asunto es que aquí les traigo 8 discos de esta buenísima banda liderada por Nick Cave, acompañado por los señores Rowland S. Howard, Mick Harvey y Tracy Pew, son las ediciones en CD, que en la mayoría de los casos traen más temas que en los LP... más adelante me daré el tiempo de subir los Singles y EPs, por ahora disfruten de lo que aquí les dejo :)

The Immaculate Consumptive

   The Immaculate Consumptive (El Tísico Inmaculado o La Tuberculosis Inmaculada), es el nombre que recibe la breve colaboración entre Lydia Lunch, Nick Cave, Marc Almond y Jim G. Thirlwell, quienes en 1983 se encontraban todos juntos en Londres y que sólo realizaron 3 presentaciones en vivo.
   En Mayo y Junio de ese año Lydia Lunch había estado grabando la película Like Dawn to Dust dirigida por Vivienne Dick en Connemara, Irlanda. En Agosto Jim G. Thirlwell se encontraba grabando su disco Hole y entre Septiembre y Octubre colabora con Nick Cave quien estaba en las grabaciones de su primer álbum, From Her to Eternity, junto a sus The Bad Seeds y a su vez ambos, con Marc Almond colaboraban en el álbum Plays Kickabye de Annie Hogan.
   Todos estos acontecimientos hicieron que estos artistas se reunieran para la presentación de Halloween que Lydia Lunch tenía en el club Dancetaria el 30 y 31 de Octubre en New York, aunque su primer concierto fue realizado el 27 de Octubre en Washington.

The Cat Piano (Subtitulado al Español)

   El hombre del faro ataca la cuidad para crear el instrumento musical más abominable que pueda llegar a existir... el Piano de Gatos. Un escritor hará todo lo posible por rescatar a su amada.

   Basado en el poema del mismo nombre del escritor Eddie White, nos llega este cortometraje dirigido por el mismo Eddie White y Ari Gibson, narrado por Nick Cave y subtitulado al español por Andres Segovia (muchas gracias!).
