Harry Crews and Harry Crews

Harry Crews es la banda que fundaron Lydia Lunch (Teenage Jesus & The Jerks, 8 Eyed Spy, Big Sexy Noise) junto a Kim Gordon (Sonic Youth) y Sadie Mae, también conocida como Lisa Timocich. El nombre de la banda fue tomado del escritor del sur gotico (southern gothic, como le suelen llamar) Harry Crews, quien escribía acerca de temáticas como la brutalidad, la miseria y el dolor.

Esta banda jamás grabó un disco de estudio y de hecho el que les dejaré aquí es el único que tienen, es una presentación en vivo, con Lydia Lunch de vocalista y guitarrista, Kim Gordon al bajo, Sadie Mae en la batería y donde también participa Pat Place (The Contortions) en la guitarra. El nombre del disco "Naked in Garden Hills" fue tomado de uno de los trabajos de Crews, espero lo disfruten.
